Kanchi Eco farms (KEF) is a 16 acre piece of land located 45 min away from Chennai. The whole plot has been developed as a Carbon negative zone with strong emphasis on sustainability.
Keeping this in mind, a simple load bearing structure was constructed for the office using CSEB blocks. The exposed RCC roof provides durability and weather resistance. Further, the doors are made from recycled Kalimarudu wood and the interiors are done by cement plaster. The grey and red oxide flooring along with Eco-friendly materials make the office blend in with the surroundings, giving it a ‘natural’ look.
