Architect Asaithambi (Guru Design Studio) has been working in collaboration with us for quite a long time, with his exceptionally smart and simple design ideas gives a new perspective to architecture. The design of his residence in itself is an example of catering modern demands with vernacular approach.

Our construction approach to this project maintaned the signature style of keeping it simple yet elegant with use of locally available materials and eco-friendly construction techniques.

Some special features of the residence are its Porch ‘Thinnai’ which in itself is an aesthetic addition to the structure. With exposed brick masonry and mud mortar pointing, the structure is load bearing, IPS flooring, tile roofing for porch with bison board fixing.

First floor terrace boasts a vernacular look with tile roofing on porch and the walls crowned with an elephant inspired.
